What is the difference between a Holiday House and Holiday House (Large)?
A Holiday House accommodates up to 6 guests. A Holiday House (Large) accommodates between 6 and 12 guests. Different application requirements and fee schedules apply.
My property is in Prevelly or Gnarabup — will I get approval?
These coastal areas are considered preferred locations for holiday houses. Approval is more likely than in inland areas, but is still subject to the full assessment process.
How long does the process take?
Budget 8–12 weeks for a straightforward application. Properties requiring advertising or referral to DFES for bushfire assessment will take longer.
